How to watch Chinese TV on Roku, answer is here!

As a Chinese live in US for 5 years, I have to say that US entertainment life not as colorful as China, at least not for Chinese, because most of the Chinese don’t like the parties as American do. So how to spend time after work is an issue. Fortunately I have a Roku box, it has plenty Channels with movies and dramas, but most of them are English Channel. So how to watch Chinese TV on Roku? 3 years ago , there is a netstar app that you can install on Roku (it’s very hard to install, you need to be an IT expert), this app can watch Chinese channel, but 1 and half years ago, this app stop working because as they said “the copyright issue” ,so for the past 1 and half year I have no Chinese TV , this is killing me indeed.

Until recently, I found a Chinese Channel name “Damai”, it has 30days free trail, so I try it and it’s awesome! It has more than 100 Chinese live Channel, and most important, they have a lot of the newest movies and TV drama, it has much more content than netstar. You just search” Damai” on Roku Channel list, and add it to your list. This Chinese Channel on Roku has CCTV1-CCTV 15, Zhejiang TV(浙江卫视), Hunan TV（湖南卫视）, Jiangshu TV（江苏卫视）total 100+ live channel, even some HongKong and Taiwan Channel, all the Chanel in high definition and very stable, just like I was in China! They build their own CDN in US, that’s why it can play stable and fluent. That’s really cool!

I like watching entertainment show in Hunan TV and Zhejiang TV, like Happy camp（快乐大本营） and Running man（奔跑吧兄弟） also the I’m singer（我是歌手）. I really like this Damai Channel ,because beside the live TV, Damai has also hundred thousands of Movies and TV Dramas (Video on Demand), Movies are 1080P and 4K even, and they really least movies which just off the cinema, and the dramas are updated synchronously with China. I’m watching the hottest Drama “三生三世十里桃花” on Damai!
